Dr. Leszek A. Błędzki is a limnologist and an expert in taxonomy, ecology, and biogeography of Cladocera, Copepoda and Rotifera, from North America and Europe with around 50 years of experience, off which the first two decades he gained working at the Nicolaus Copernicus University (Poland), and since 1995 at the Mount Holyoke College (Massachusetts. USA), teaching Limnology, Ecology and Environmental Science.
